University of Connecticut
UCONN Extension
ββThe Brief: UConn Extension's agricultural program needed a documentary series spotlighting Connecticut's most successful entrepreneur-farmers — telling their stories in a way that could drive real economic impact for each of them.
β
What We Did: Over three years, our three-person team traveled the entire state to document these farmers' stories and daily lives — from urban growers in the cities to rural operations in the countryside. Each farmer received their own dedicated episode, capturing what made their business work.
β
The Outcome: The films did more than tell a story — they moved the needle. Each featured farmer saw an increase in sales, and the series helped secure grant funding through the program. A three-year partnership with measurable economic impact for the people it profiled.
